We came here as a group of 8 to try one of their special fish dishes that you need to preorder at least 1 day in advance.
This is a fairly small restaurant in a primarily industrial neighborhood. Wasn't a lot of parking but there was plenty of space when we went.
The decor in this place reminds me of the early 90s but it's clean and staff are friendly.
Food: Deep fried grouper served on a bed of deep fried tofu and bok choy. The fish was great! Tender texture, fresh flavor. The fish is crispy on the outside despite swimming in sauce. Huge plate of fish but you do pay a lot. Deep fried tofu and bok choy are good too - I hate when restaurant make mushy vegetables.
The shredded chicken had a nice delicate flavor and good portion.
The duck is unique in its sweet and sour lemon flavor, has a nice spicy kick to it. I'm not big on lemony items (Id rather have a nice roast Peking duck) but this was still quite good. Duck was tender and moist, good flavor and balance between sweet, sour and spicy.
The oysters were probably my favorite dish. Deep fried in a crispy breading, coated in sweet sauce.
The fried rice was great!
Service: Very good, small staff for a small restaurant but they check in every so often and make sure any requests are met quickly. The owner is very friendly and honest, he'll tell you if something is not in season and not worth getting unlike some places that won't say much unless you pry.
Price: Expensive but very fresh seafood so you get what you pay for. Some specialty items require you to pre order. They only take cash and debit.
Overall a great place for fresh seafood and unique Chinese dishes but be prepared to pay more for it! -

Our dining in experience was exceptional. We pre-ordered many of our dishes in advance so the food was brought out promptly and in a gradual process, so we weren't overwhelmed with food and we were eating the food while it was still hot. We ordered several high end dishes and received extra attention by the servers and owner. Many good dishes overall. A bit on the pricey side, but they certainly deliver high quality food.
Highly recommend the 'Deep fried tiger shrimps' -

What a pleasantly surprising lunch with coworkers.
We went here with the full intention of getting the lunch specials, but our server recommended that we try a couple of their specialty dishes instead. He recommended the fried rice Gui Lin style and the pork lo vermicelli Gui Lin style. I love a recommendation (and it would have been cheaper than the 3 lunch specials we were going to get) so we went for it.
They were fabulous. The noodles were amazing, a bit sweet, salty and sour, with perfectly cooked vermicelli. The rice actually got a weird emotional response from me, a lot like what happens at the end of Ratatouille (spoilers? The movie is 12 years old) and I found myself getting a bit misty. It tastes almost exactly like the sticky rice my mom makes, and my mom is an AMAZING cook.
The portions were definitely enough for 3 people. We actually had to overeat a bit to finish it all.
We'll definitely be back, and in greater numbers, too. We want to get those dishes again plus the duck and pork feet that he recommended for next time. -

A place we come by for lunch sometimes. They offer dishes with good flavours and decent consistency. The service is excellent, always attentive and friendly. A decent sized place, cozy environment. Parking lot is on the smaller side (hopefully you came in a large car with your family lolol). We do like this place for its lamb hot pot. It comes with a stinky tofu sauce alongside and lettuce. The lamb comes off smoothly and the broth is nice. We usually add more sides like tofu skins and noodles! So it can be good for 2~4 people depending. Get an ice drink too.

Yummy yummy yum yum! It's what I call a hidden gem. Local people just making some awesome chinese food and trying new things to make great flavours!
We love this place and we simultaneously hope they get discovered more, but also maintain it's low key-ness so we don't have to wait hours for a table.
Their signature dishes probably include the pork feet and their own recipe for duck which is sweet, salty and sour all at once. It's soo good you guys have got to try it out!
Every time we're here, we also order the tossed noodles guinam style. (probably spelled wrong there but you'll see it on the menu!) So yummy and bursting with flavour!
I just can't get enough of this place :) And the owners by the way are really nice people!
